September 19th Training Camp News and Notes
Training camp is all about competition for roster spots. This year’s camp is no different than any other year in that department. The Red Wings have lots of young players – both forwards and defensemen who are pushing for roster spots. Unfortunately there is very little room, but a strong training camp and exhibition season might change minds or at the very least help establish the depth chart.

September 18th Training Camp News and Notes
The opening day of the Red Wings training camp was marred by a scary incident just minutes into team Delvecchio’s practice. Free agent tryout Jerome Verrier and Darren Helm collided while participating in intersquad drills. The force of the impact left both players down on the ice for several minutes. Helm was the first on his feet but he had to be helped off the ice while Verrier had to be stretchered off. Both players went to the hospital for precautionary reasons with Helm going through the concussion protocol. Verrier’s training camp … Continue Reading
2015 Training Camp Alumni and Celebrity Roster Announced
Red Wings training camp organizers in conjunction with the Detroit Red Wings have announced the rosters for the third annual Alumni and Celebrity game scheduled for 7:00 pm on September 19th. All players and teams are subject to change depending on availability. Tickets for this event are sold out.
Special jerseys have been designed specifically for the event and fans in attendance will be able to bid on the autographed jerseys during a silent auction that will open one hour before the game and run through the first period. Select jerseys will be available … Continue Reading
Red Wings Announce 2015 Training Camp Schedule
The Red Wings have announced their complete schedule for the 2015 training camp at Centre I.C.E. Arena in Traverse City, MI. The camp opens with the annual charity golf outing and reception on September 17th. The first public on-ice activity will take place on at 9:30 am on September 18th. Morning skates and scrimmages will continue until September 21st. An alumni and celebrity hockey game slated for 7:00 pm will cap the activities on the 19th. Ticket Sale for 2015 Red Wings Training Camp Announced
Red Wings Training Camp organizers have announced a tentative ticket sale date for the 2015 TC NHL® Prospect Tournament and Detroit Red Wings training camp. This is an in-person ticket sale only and will be held at Centre Ice Arena from 12 noon until 4 pm on July 5th, downstairs in the main lobby.
