Chris Chelios To Sign His Book ‘Made in America’ on September 14th
On September 14, 2015 Hall of Fame defenseman Chris Chelios will sign his book Made in America. The book signing will be held from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm at Centre ICE Arena in Traverse City, MI. Books will be available onsite at a cost of $25.95 while supplies last. No other memorabilia will be signed at this event.
Chelios served as captain of two Original Six teams and won the Norris Trophy three times in his career. He played in 1,651 NHL games with Montreal, Chicago and Detroit for a total of 26 professional seasons of hockey. The 53 year-old won three Stanley Cups and appeared in 11 all-star games. He also represented his country 11 times at international competitions like the Olympics and the World Championship of hockey.
In his book, co-authored by Kevin Allen and forward written by Wayne Gretzkey, Chelios gives fan a guided tour of his improbable career; from his childhood in South California; to his early years playing in Moose Jaw and Madison, WI. From the 1992 Stanley Cup final to the 2006 Winter Olympics team, Chelios shares his achievements on the ice while providing new information on his life off it to readers, making this autobiography a must-have.
