The Carolina Hurricanes have announced their 2018 roster for the NHL prospect tournament at Centre ICE arena in Traverse City, MI. The team features  the teams the second overall pick from this past June Andrei Svechnikov. Also included are first round pick from 2017,  Martin Necas and 2016 first round draft picks Jake Bean and Julien Gauthier. The team also features Cliff Pu, who was acquired in the Jeff Skinner trade this offseason and Janne Kuokkanen, who saw four NHL games in 2017-2018

The Detroit Red Wings have invited eight free agents to round out their roster for the NHL Prospect Tournament beginning in Traverse City on September 7th.

Among those auditioning are offensive forwards Pavel Gogolev (pictured) and Nicolas Guay. Also included on this years roster are a handful of players inked to AHL contracts including Marcus Crawford, Trevor Hamilton, Jordan Topping and Trevor Yates.

The team features top ten picks from 2017 and 2018, Michael Rasmussen and Filip Zadina. The Dallas Stars have announced their 2017 roster for the NHL prospect tournament at Centre ICE Arena in Traverse City, MI. The team features  2015 first round selection Denis Gurianov who also made his NHL debut last season seeing time in one game for the Stars and Jason Robertson who piled up 42 goals and 81 points in his draft year. Also on the roster is Jeremy Brodeur, the son of former NHL goalie Martin Brodeur, who tried out last year for the Columbus Blue Jackets..

The Minnesota Wild have announced their 2017 roster for the NHL prospect tournament at Centre ICE arena in Traverse City, MI. The team features the Wild’s top picks from 2016, Luke Kunin and 2015 first round selection Joel Eriksson EK. Also on the roster is offensive threat Giorgio Estephen who failed to sign an entry level deal with Buffalo this spring. Adam Vay, who was signed as a free agent last offseason, is a rare goalie prospect out of Hungary.

The Columbus Blue Jackets have announced their 2017 roster for the NHL prospect tournament at Centre ICE arena in Traverse City, MI. The team features  the third overall selection in the 2016 draft, Pierre-Luc Dubois. Also included are the 29th overall pick in the 2015 NHL draft, Gabriel Carlsson, who played in two NHL games last year. Three former Red Wings free agent tryouts – Justin Brazeau and Hayden Hodgson (AHL contract) and Luke Kirwan are also included.

The St. Louis Blues have announced their 2016 roster for the NHL prospect tournament at Centre ICE arena in Traverse City, MI. The team features Robert Thomas and Klim Kostin who were taken with the 20th and 31st overall in June’s NHL entry draft. Also on the roster is Tage Thompson, a first round selection from 2016 who has a shot at making the Blues opening roster. Former Red Wing draftee Mike McKee will get another NHL shot after the Red Wings opted not to sign the bruising defeseman.

The Red Wings have announced their complete schedule for the 2017 training camp at Centre ICE Arena in Traverse City, MI. The camp opens with the annual charity golf outing and reception on September 14th starting with a 10 AM registration.. The first public on-ice activity will take place on at 9:30 am on September 15th. Morning skates and scrimmages will continue until September 17th. The team features  undersized sniper Alex Debrincat who has posted three straight 100 point seasons with Erie of the OHL.  Also on the roster is the team’s top pick in 2015 Graham Knott and two-way forward Radovan who split last year with Vancouver and Prince George of the WHL.
