Red Wings Announce 2016 Development Camp Schedule
The Detroit Red Wings today released the schedule for their 2016 Development Camp, which will be held at Centre Ice Arena in Traverse City, Mich., from July 6-10. The camp kicks
off on Wednesday, July 6 and features on-ice and off-ice workouts each day, including scrimmages on Saturday, July 8 and Tuesday, July 10.
The camp will be split into two teams, Red and White, and will feature daily on-ice instruction skill development from a team of coaches, led by new Grand Rapids Griffins head coach Todd Nelson. Players will also take part in daily off-ice workouts and attend classes about being a professional hockey player on and off the ice, while receiving feedback from Red Wings coaches and management.
All practices are open to the public. Tickets are available in-person at Centre Ice Arena for $5 per day. Below is the Detroit Red Wings Development Camp Schedule:
