Adam Marsh: ‘I Won’t Let Detroit Down’
Two years ago Adam Marsh almost quit hockey after a disagreement with his Midget AAA coach. Eyes Wide Open: Saarijarvi Learning North American Game on the Fly
Ville Sarrijarvi’s life has been a whirlwind since being drafted by the Red Wings 73rd overall. The Finnish teen has already inked a three-year entry level contract with Detroit and agreed to play for the Flint Firebirds of the OHL. The book signing will be held from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm at Centre ICE Arena in Traverse City, MI. Books will be available onsite at a cost of $25.95 while supplies last. Confidence Boost: Paterson Starts Tournament with a Shutout
Jake Paterson was the reason why the Red Wings won their opening game of the NHL prospect tournament in Traverse City, MI. The 6-foot-1, 183 pound goalie stopped all 22 shots he faced against the Carolina Hurricanes Friday night.
“He was outstanding,” Coach Todd Nelson said. “With these games being the way they are, the guys are nervous and it gets sloppy. Anytime it is sloppy like that, the goaltender has to be big for you and he held his ground and kept us in the game.”

Red Wings training camp organizers in conjunction with the Detroit Red Wings have announced the rosters for the third annual Alumni and Celebrity game scheduled for 7:00 pm on September 19th. All players and teams are subject to change depending on availability. Tickets for this event are sold out.
